Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani today received Liu Jun, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in the Kurdistan Region, on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mission.
Consul General Liu thanked the people of Kurdistan for their hospitality and friendship, describing his experience as unforgettable and Kurdistan as his second home.
He also outlined the Consulate General’s activities in the Kurdistan Region, including efforts to strengthen relations between universities in China and the Kurdistan Region, promote the automobile industry of China, and work toward the construction of a new building for the Consulate General of China in Erbil.
Prime Minister Barzani emphasized the importance of further developing relations between the Kurdistan Region and China. He thanked the Consul General for his efforts and wished him success in his future work.
