Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani bid farewell to Andrew Bizley, Consul General of the United Kingdom in the Kurdistan Region, on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mission.
Prime Minister Barzani thanked the UK Consul General for his efforts in strengthening bilateral relations across a range of sectors.
The Prime Minister also reaffirmed the Kurdistan Region's readiness to further enhance coordination and cooperation with the UK.
Consul General Bizley expressed his appreciation for the support and close coordination he received from the relevant institutions of the Kurdistan Regional Government. He also reaffirmed the United Kingdom's commitment to continuing its support for the Kurdistan Region.
In another part of the meeting, both sides agreed on the importance of reactivating the Kurdistan Parliament and forming the new KRG Cabinet.
